  • All Three Surprise Dishes Are Not Listed on the Menu.
  • Please notify your dietary needs (including vegetarian and food-allergy) when ordering.
We will try our best to accommodate your specific requirements.
  • Price does not include tax and tips. 15-18% gratuity may be directly added to your bill but at your discretion.

Small fees for guests leaving after being seated in dark: a small number of guests who came, made food order, and were seated via assistance of guide servers and experienced the initial dark room service, but decided to leave before food preparation. While we understand that guests did not really consume meals, the process took away seats from other potential guests and required a portion of staff time and service. Therefore $6 (inclu. $1 staff tip) will be charged for each guest who leaves before food preparation.  Guests will be charged / taxed full amount for foods and drinks already in preparation.  Thanks for understanding.

      • Hi I would like to make reservation for two on April 11 in the evening. What time must I arrive?
I did leave a message requiring reservation before via the phone and left a message.
I never heard back from anyone.

    • You may consider to take the hotel elavator down to restaurant level. Inside
restaurant there are only two locations with 2-3 steps. If he can move fine
with some assistance by you to go to dark room, he would be OK.

Please send inquires by email in future.

  4. We went for the experience & that was fantastic ! — though it was marred by a major slip up as I was served a non veg starter & I am a vegetarian ( never tasted meat before being a Hindu ) & though the server apologized it left an uneasy feeling about my entire meal . he was a bit indifferent- his first reaction was “ you have got what you ordered “ so that left a bad taste .

  6. I’m intrigued by your setup and want to bring my husband for dinner on his birthday. Only issue is, I have a 3 month old. So the question is: is it like pitch dark? Or can we at least see the food or the other person we’re dinning with?

    • You would not bring 3-month old kid for this type of dinner. It’s completely dark and you will be assisted by blind guide server to move into the seats

  12. Hi. I’m using Groupon. It says “Three-Course “Dine-in-the-Dark” Experience for Two; Valid for Dinner Monday–Thursday” Does this mean if I purchase only 1 ticket it will cover me and my spouse? And we can’t use it between Friday – Sunday ?

    Reply
    12
    • Yes, you are right. Weekend is too busy and we cannot promote and still keep up the service (though many guests would prefer weekend).

  15. Someone in our group has a nut allergy so cross contamination is a concern. Do any of your recipes have nuts or nut oils in them? Are any nut products in the kitchen?

      • Thank you for the reply however my questions were not directly answered. I am assuming that means nut products are used in some recipes and are present in your kitchen.

        • Nuts are not used in preparation of dishes, but cake desserts may contain trace amount from the supplier, and some flavor additives may also have that trace of possibility (therefore guests may order sorbet as dessert, and kitchen would just use simple things like salt and olive oil in cooking).

          • Yes most people know, and currently 15-18% tipping level is widely known in Toronto. Thanks for the comments.

  16. We are looking at coming for dinner for a bachelorette, to confirm all guests need to arrive 30 minutes for the scheduled sit down?
Guests have a choice between selected meals or surprise meals?

Have you had these types of parties before?

    Thanks!

    • Yes we have had such parties frequently. Guests can arrive 15-min before the scheduled time, though arrival right at the time is not considered as late.
Yes, guests have a choice of menu dishes and surprise dishes, as long as each orders minimum two-course meal. Thanks and look forward to hosting you.

  24. Ask to see your bill before you pay. We noticed that we were charged for two extra drinks before the hostess moved the ipad out of sight. She gave us a $3 refund, but that was only enough to cover one of the extra drinks. My total with tip and tax for a 3 course meal with a surprise drink was $75.43. That math doesn’t add up. Great experience, great service, decent food, but extemely disappointed to feel like we were getting ripped off. You should let people see what they are being charged for.

    • We will advise staff about this. Guests can keep the receipt,
or if correction is required a corrected receipt (that receipt
is for guests and restaurant does not keep such and all orders
are deleted within the day, cleared for next day).
